Restaurant Participation Rules
Offer 3-course menu options to every guest who enters your restaurant during the promotion week.
Plus $1 Promotion – Add $1 to the meal cost for each meal sold. All sales will be tracked by the restaurant and the $1 will be donated to Volunteer Fox Cities.
o Lunch – $14 ($18 min value) – Plus $1 (Meal cost $12 + $1 donation)
o Dinner – $26 ($32 min value) – Plus $1 (Meal cost $25 + $1 donation)
o Alt Dinner – $36 ($43 min value) – Plus $1 (Meal cost $35 + $1 donation)
Restaurants will supply menus to Volunteer Fox Cities by Friday, August 16, 2019.
- If menus are submitted by the deadline (8/16/19), Volunteer Fox Cities will make arrangements to print a maximum of 200 copies for you
- If menus are submitted after the deadline, restaurants will be sent a PDF of their menu in the template for you to print.
- Menu diversification is encouraged. Please denote options that are vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free.
Restaurants participate for the entire week and/or weekend during their regular business hours.
- Restaurants do not have to open for lunch if they typically are not open (this was a requirement in the past)
Restaurants will advertise their participation in the promotion through their standard media channels including email, Facebook Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Restaurants will post and display all collateral material provided for promotion in the weeks prior to the event.
- “Talking points / canned verbiage” for the restaurants to use in all social media platforms
Restaurants will pay $300 per venue to participate in the week-long promotion – Early Bird Registration ends on Friday, June 14, 2019 – after this date, the registration price increases to $350.
- Will provide two $25 Gift Cards/Certificates to be used for event promotion
- Participation fee will cover the cost of promotional efforts and administrative costs including website, development and maintenance, event coordination, content for social media, and more
- Participation fees are due ASAP to maximize exposure for your restaurant
- The earlier your register & pay, your location could be selected for an on air promotion
- Complete the Registration Form and include payment
- Restaurant logos and other branding information is also due upon sign-up
- Restaurants agree to provide the plus $1 per plate donation to Volunteer Fox Cities by September 30, 2019.
- Restaurants agree to provide each diner with an evaluation survey, which will be returned to Volunteer Fox Cities for reporting and analysis.
